Israel
Our ministry in the Holy Land is primarily to Druze and "cultural" Christians. Druze came out of Islam in the 10th Century, believe in one God, reincarnation and five cosmic principles and consider Jesus to be just another prophet. Cultural Christians are raised Catholic or Greek Orthodox and are "Christian" only by birth. Both suffer severe persecution when they profess Jesus as their Lord and Savior. This work in the Galilee began in 2003 with five families. Today, more than 250 families meet regularly. The church in the village of Mughar is attended by 70 to 100 people.
India
We came to southwest India in 2006 to minister to Hindus and a small group of Christians. Our national leader is a medical doctor who left a successful practice to continue the work after the death of his father, who started the work. Today, we supply materials to pastors and "Bible women" who lead home groups in eight villages.
China
In the summer of 2007, CGM began a work in the city of Loiyang, in Henan Province. Four home groups now meet, using CGM study materials. Twenty more goups are planned to open in 2007-08.
