Mission Statement
Established in 2003, the Center for Global Ministries (CGM) is a worldwide church-planting ministry, patterned on the home church model of the First Century Church. Partnering with Christian leaders in the host country, we: 1) help them form home groups, 2) equip them with multimedia teaching and discipleship materials in their language, 3) support them through continuing relationship and the services of short term missions teams and 4) enable them to reach out and meet the needs of their communities.
Mostly, small groups are the pattern of Scripture, particularly as set forth in The Acts of the Apostles.
Why Home Groups?
   Because they work.
Small groups are far more effective than large congregational settings for ministry, discipleship, training and personal development. That's why school teachers love small classes.
Small groups are mobile, better organized and more disciplined than larger groups. That's why the squad is the basic unit of an army.
And small groups are more intimate and build stronger relationships. That's why God places us into families.
"The Apostles' Doctrine"
A home group without a purpose is just "company." That's why we provide them with the biblically-sound teaching and discipleship tools they need to become a strategic force in the Kingdom of God.
And because people learn differently, we provide these materials in print, audio and video formats - all in the language of the local church.
But we cannot meet the challenges the Lord sets before us alone. Thats's why He sends committed believers like you.
If the Lord is tugging at your spirit right now, take some time to prayerfully consider: going on a short-term mission, joining a CGM prayer team or becoming a financial partner.
